Dampling – Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the Dampling app ("the app"), published by SLASH DIGITAL LAB SAS, Carrera 8A # 97-07, Bogotá, Colombia ("we"). By using the app you accept them.

1. What Dampling is (and is not)

Dampling helps you track and reduce your alcohol and/or nicotine use with a virtual pet, a journal, insights and challenges. It is a wellbeing tool, not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Numbers (alcohol units, calories, money saved) are estimates. If you may be dependent on alcohol or nicotine, seek professional help: stopping alcohol suddenly can be dangerous. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

2. Who can use it

You must be of legal drinking age in your country (and at least 18). The app is not intended for children.

3. Your data

Your journal is stored on your device. Optional backup is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your device secure; we cannot recover a journal you erased or a device you lost unless Backup & sync was on.

4. Dampling Plus (subscriptions)

• Dampling Plus is optional. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country.
• Subscriptions are purchased through Apple or Google and renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before they end.
• Manage or cancel in your App Store / Google Play account settings (also reachable from Settings → Manage subscription). Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
• A one-time "Lifetime" purchase, when offered, unlocks Plus for as long as the app is offered, on the store account used to buy it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no attempts to access other users' data, no automated abuse of our servers.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and correct but cannot guarantee it is free of errors. We may update or discontinue features; if we discontinue Dampling Plus, active subscriptions will be handled according to the store rules.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions you take based on the app's estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including consumer protection rules of your country of residence).

8. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence, which always apply. Please contact us first so we can solve any problem: support@martialtech.fr.
