Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-14
This policy explains how SLASH DIGITAL LAB SAS ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use the Flashdays app for iOS and Android (the "App") and these web pages. We collect as little as we can. We never sell your data, never use it for advertising and never track you across other companies' apps or websites.
This text is also our policy for the processing of personal data under Colombian law (Ley 1581 de 2012, Decreto 1377 de 2013) and our privacy notice under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
SLASH DIGITAL LAB SAS, Carrera 8A # 97-07, Bogotá, Colombia. Contact for anything about your data: support@martialtech.fr.
What we process and why
Account. If you create an account, we store an identifier for it:
-
your email address, when you sign in with a one-time code sent by email;
-
the identifier and email address Apple gives us when you use Sign in with Apple (it can be a private relay address);
We use them to sign you in, keep your data in sync across your devices and back it up. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (the Terms of Use).
Your content. When you are signed in, a copy of the recipes you save (a name and your develop settings: camera look, flash, date stamp, frame) is stored on our servers so that you can find it on your other devices and recover it. Only you can access it. Legal basis: contract.
Purchases. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play): we never see your payment card. To unlock premium features we receive the store receipt and an anonymous purchase identifier through RevenueCat. Legal basis: contract.
Support. When you write to us, we keep your email address and messages to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
These web pages use no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security, for a limited time.
Your photos never leave your device. The App only opens the photos you pick in your phone's photo picker, or the photo you take with the camera. It develops them on your phone (graphics processor), saves the results to your photo library only when you tap Save, and shares them only to the app you choose in the share sheet. We never receive, store or analyse your photos, and the App uses no AI. Developed photos are saved without metadata (no location, no device information).
No account needed. Picking, developing, saving and sharing photos work without any account. Recipes (a Flashdays Pro feature) are stored on our servers: the first time you open Recipes, the App creates an anonymous account identifier (no name, no email). If you later sign in with an email code or with Apple, your recipes move to that account. Anonymous identifiers that are not used for 30 days are deleted with their recipes.
Permissions. Camera: only when you tap "Take a photo". Photos (add only): only when you tap "Save to Photos". The App never asks to read your whole photo library.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the App. They process data only on our instructions:
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Neon | Database, file storage and server functions for accounts and synced data | European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) |
| Resend | Sends the one-time sign-in codes by email | United States |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and subscriptions | United States |
| Google sign-in, Google Play purchases and subscriptions | United States | |
| RevenueCat | Validates store receipts and unlocks premium features | United States |
When data is transferred outside your country (for example to the United States), we rely on the safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
-
Account and synced content: until you delete your account. Deletion removes them from our active systems at once, and from backups within 30 days.
-
Support messages: as long as needed to answer you, and at most 2 years.
-
Purchase records: kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as required by tax and accounting law.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw a consent you gave (this does not affect what was done before).
You can delete your account yourself in the App (Settings → Delete account) or on this page.
For anything else, email support@martialtech.fr. We answer within 15 business days, and in any case within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority: in Colombia the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), Colombia; in the European Union or the EEA the authority of your country of residence.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored by our providers with encryption at rest. Your session is kept in your device's secure storage, and access to our systems is restricted.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and its date. If a change is important, we also tell you in the App.
