Terms of use
Veto messenger (iOS and Android apps, and the web app) · Last updated 19 October 2026
1. The service
Veto is a messaging app published by SLASH DIGITAL LAB SAS, Carrera 8A # 97-07, Bogotá, Colombia. Your identity is created on your device, and your messages are end-to-end encrypted and delivered through relays. By creating an identity in Veto, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Veto.
2. Who can use Veto
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. You must also be allowed to use the service under the laws that apply to you.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Veto to:
- harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or stalk anyone, or encourage violence or self-harm;
- send content that sexualises minors. Any such content will be reported to the authorities;
- share sexual or intimate content of anyone without their consent;
- spread hate speech or content that promotes terrorism;
- send spam, scams, phishing or malware, or message people in bulk;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- break the law, or infringe other people's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- attack, overload or disrupt the relays or other users' devices.
4. Blocking, reporting and enforcement
Anyone you contact can block you; their device then discards everything you send. They can also report you to us from the app or by e-mail to support@martialtech.fr, and include messages you sent them. We review reports and aim to respond within 24 hours. Because Veto is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot read conversations or delete messages from other people's devices. Where we can, we will stop you from using the parts of the service we operate, and we will cooperate with the authorities when the law requires it.
5. Your identity, passcode and data
You are responsible for your device and your passcode. Nobody, including us, can recover a lost passcode or the data protected by it. You can delete everything at any time (see Support). Our handling of data is described in the Privacy policy.
6. Availability and security
We work to keep Veto available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted delivery. Some relays are run by independent operators. No software is free of flaws, and you should judge whether Veto fits your needs. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
7. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above, and where a change is important, we will show it in the app. You can stop using Veto at any time by deleting it from your device.
8. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. This does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Contact: support@martialtech.fr.
